Son in Law Seenu

Disclaimer: This is not a review, and also not a post which reveals the story line of the movie. This is my take on the movie.

The reason why I cannon reveal the story line of this movie can be assumed as either of the two:

1. There is no story line to reveal.

2. You know how some people just read the story online, and decide for themselves, that it isnt a great movie, it’s because of them that the pretentious review writers garner a lot of attention with their reviews and cause a loss to the producers money and efforts.

I was down with a heavy heavy headache, and a mild fever yesterday. I fell asleep by 10.30 PM which is very early according to my standards. The cause being; I took a stroll to Charminar, walked about 4 km with a camera bag on my back. Okay, too much of nonsense about myself! Let’s get to the point!!

Aah, aah, aaah, aah alludu seenu, nuvvosthe super hit ee prathi scenuuu!! (aah, aah, aah, aaah son in law seenu, if you come every scene is super hit!) is a minor reason that made me go watch the movie.

The major reason being, my best buddy Sarat, who is a fan of mass masala no sense logic-less movies! And an even bigger fan of watching them in the old theatres (not your classy multiplexes), the theatres where the real cinema began! I love that too!

We entered the theatre (Gokul theatre, Hyderabad), and we were greeted by the curtain opening of the movie screen, whistling, screaming, howling and CHEERING! We were shouting too!

The hero is introduced by constant, consistent , repetitive and redundant compliments by Prakash Raj, and there is an awesome entry scene of the hero with super duper slow mo!

V.V. Vinayaks’s comedy has always been amazing in his movies! Pretty intellectual actually! Alludu Seenu also has some amazing comedy, which no hollywood also can recreate it! It’s only by mana telugu directors!

Samantha, apparently is the best actress ever, and she proves this again with this movie! Her expressions are amazing! This movie has a scene where the heroine tests the hero to see if he is QUALIFIED enough to marry her! And OMG those tests, the best! And the laughter that comes along, uncontrollable! Samantha, you are the best!

The hero enthralls the audience with his flexible dance movements, high kicks, strong punches, and poker faces. Same as the heroine, his comic timing too is simply mind blowing! This director is really really good, eh?!

The best part about this movie like most of the commercial telugu movies these days is? BRAHMANANDAM! That’s right, everyone! Brahmi’s entry is the most awesome entry in this movie! It beats everyone’s entry! Too good! And guess what his name is in the movie! DIMPLE! Yay! That’s what I am talking about! The name itself evokes so much laughter! I am having tears in my eyes as I am typing this, out of laughter ofcourse!

The first half happens initially in the fake Chennai, then in the real Hyderabad, and then the story SHIFTS TO SHARJAH. Yes, the dialogue SHIFT TO SHARJAH has been used in the movie. Ofcourse, in between you have these songs with awesomely constructed sets. Beautiful they are! Must have cost a bomb! But they were good!

The movie ends up like most of the movies. Good always beats bad. But, it’s only in the movies, isn’t it?

I hope this isn’t revealing the storyline too much. I have tried to avoid as much as possible! But it is indeed a GREAT movie! Greatest of all time! I will give this a staggering 100 out of 10.

Forgive me for my math! Although I was a topper in my school (boasting mode), this movie was so awesome that my mind is kind of twisted right now!

1. How did you start blogging?

I started bloggin by firstly registering with the WordPress.com website like everyone else! A very bad joke, huh? Yea!!

I actually don’t remember what made me take up blogging, but it mostly might be because I like to express myself. I wanted to tell the world that I gave up everything and became a photographer. I was proud of it. That would be it!

2. Who inspired you to blog? Any mysterious woman?

Women are mysterious, surely! But no mysterious woman inspired me to blog for sure!

It was photography.

3. If life gives a chance, what would you like to change about yourself?

Given the chance, I wish I would win a lottery worth a million rupees!

4. Tell us about your favorite holiday destination.

Any place which would be loaded with adventure!!

5. If you can become a super hero, who would you be?

You could wake me up from my sleep, and ask me the same question, I would say Batman!

6. Show us a childhood photo of yours 😉

I was cute and FAIR back then. Now, I am not FAIR, but I am CUTE!

7. How important is happiness in our lives?

More than happiness, it’s peace. We can only pursue happiness, but maybe never really attain it. Yes, for all of you must be thinking this is from the movie The Pursuit of Happyness, it is, and believe in it. We all have those little moments of happiness, but happiness cant exist permanently. But we all need those little, sweet moments of happiness to go on with our lives, to live with hope.

8. One friend who you miss.

I would rather not answer it.

9. If you get to write a love letter to a lady you love, what shall it be like?

It would be filled with a collage of her photographs, complemented by some awesome writings! I guess I would write about the moment the photograph was taken. And finally I would write a big I LOVE YOU with loads of kisses and hugs!

10. How did you feel when you first posted your blog? What is the best compliment you received so far for your blog?

It felt great! I had a lot to tell, and writing my first blog post was a process of unloading the heaviness in my heart. Though I have decided what I wanted to do, telling the world the same made it more real for me. I have two compliments that I would like to show!

One from my dear dear sister!! “I shall always encourage and be beside you in whatever you want , you do in your life !! and i promise you that !! All the very best to my courageous brother and i mean every bit of it !! I really LOVE you !! and will do my best to help you !!”

And another one from a recently made friend ” feeling almost same as u bro …. nice to hav company around ….i felt like i got a pat on my back after reading this that following our passion is not a crime “

11. If life gives you a chance to exchange something you have for something you want what would the two things be?

Can’t really think of any! That’s because I don’t believe in having regrets! And I don’t regret anything I have ever done, or what I have. So I needn’t exchange anything I guess!
